Martin Luther King Day Thanks

Thank you to all those who participated in our Martin Luther King Day Celebration:

– Bishop Fernandes for leading Mass and offering the message;
– Fr. Ramon Owera, our pastor, who concelebrated Mass with Bishop Fernandes;
– Deacon Frank Iannarino;
– music minister and choir director, Vernon Hairston;
– all the choir members (from various choirs);
– all the other musicians and artists who participated;
– all those who participated in the Mass in any way;
– the event co-sponsors (Catholic Foundation; Ethnic Ministries of the Columbus Diocese; Heartland Bank; Mobile Notary; and all our individual donors);
– the committee chair, Fern Upshaw;
– facilities staff, Gary Rhoades;
– all the other committee members and volunteers who worked on this event;
– all the students who came out to assist us from various schools;
– the Catholic Times and other media that helped us publicize it;
– of course, we thank Dr. King for his life and ministry, which continues to inspire us all;
– and, as is the case every day, we thank God!!!
